Natisha Raynor is a beast with the pen.....

I loved loved loved this story, that dang Rugga something else and he doesn't deserve Toya. I loved the relationship Rugga && G had as brothers and hopefully they can get that back. The boys mama was the true definition of RACHET, she didn't care what they did as long as she could get money. Poor little G seemed have been dealt a terrible hand. His intentions seemed to be good, all he wanted to do was play ball. Once his leg was broken it kind of broke his spirit as well. I know Rugga was in a relationship with Toya but I wanna see her with G. The two of them really love each other and G will treat her so much better. I was shocked when Kree ran back to Rugga like a little snitch, but he still just a kid his self. Somebody needs to handle Buns asap, why would he wanna shoot up they mama house he begging for trouble. This story had just enough drama to keep me engaged in what was going on. I think Natisha doesn't a great job of balancing out her characters.Overall I enjoyed reading this book and it was very well written. I would recommend everyone to read it, after all we all been In Love with A G before.

Geranimo known as "G" was a boss. His brother was really the man known on the streets as "Rugga". Big brother was arrogant and believed in money over B's and when he took to G's crush 9Terrin) from school, G know looked at him through a whole different window, When G meets beautiful Toya, he is in awe, but slow moving gives Rugga the chance once again. This time G is not taking this lying down. Entangled in a crazy love affair and the return of an ex, she has more than enough on her plate especially with crazy Rugga and Buns! Once Toya sees Rugga for who he really is and regretting a lot of her past, how will she escape the bad and get with the G? When Buns enlist her help with a situation, how will she handle this especially if Rugga finds out? **part 2, hurry!

I enjoyed this story.. It started out a lil slow but quickly picked up.. I really wish that G would've went harder 2 get Toya in the beginning.. Rugga was the typical man that did dirty and couldn't accept it wen it was dished back out (even tho it was done after she broke up w/ him).. Same goes for Buns.. I can't wait 4 pt 2.. I hope Toya picks the baby up & doesn't let him kno where she lives..

This, the first effort to include in one volume all that is known regarding the arcane knowledge and occult lore of the ancient Mexican peoples and their neighbours, the Maya of Central America and Yucatan, is the result of more than thirty-five years of research in a sphere which has richly repaid the writer by the companionship of its fascination, and which he hopes will prove equally absorbing to the reader who seeks passing amusement and to the serious student.

The book is so compiled as to be useful to both, popular in its general treatment, yet sufficiently authoritative in its sources and data to be of avail either to the practical anthropologist or the student of Mysticism. The historical passages essential to the introduction of the main subject are necessarily sketchy, but embody sufficient information to permit the reader ignorant of Central American chronicles to approach the consideration of the curious knowledge of the more enlightened peoples of Isthmian America in the fields of pure Magic, Astrology, Witchcraft, Demonology and Symbolism.

The chapters on the difficult question of Mexican and Maya Astrology have been reduced to a simplicity of presentation which, it is hoped, will render this vexed subject plain to everyone, and its basic importance to the whole survey of Mexican occult knowledge has been demonstrated with an equal desire for clarity.

About the Author
Mike Peng is the Jindal Chair of Global Business Strategy at the Jindal School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas. A National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER Award winner, Professor Peng is a fellow with the Academy of International Business and listed among Thomson Reuters' The World's Most Influential Scientific Minds. His recent research awards include the Journal of International Business Studies Decade Award (2015) and the Academy of Management Perspectives Best Impact Award (2014). He holds a bachelor's degree from Winona State University, Minnesota, and a Ph.D. from the University of Washington, Seattle. Prior to joining UT Dallas, Professor Peng was on the faculty at The Ohio State University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and University of Hawaii. In addition, he has held visiting or courtesy appointments in Australia, Britain, Canada, China, Denmark, Hong Kong, and Vietnam. This award-winning professor is widely regarded as one of the most prolific and influential scholars in global business, and he has garnered many research grants for his work. The United Nations and the World Bank have cited his work in major publications. Truly global in scope, his research focuses on firms' strategies in diverse regions such as Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, and North America. He has published over 120 articles in leading academic journals and authored five books. Professor Peng has served on the editorial boards of the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of International Business, and Strategic Management Journal. He was the editor-in-chief of the Asia Pacific Journal of Management and is currently a senior editor of the Journal of World Business. Professor Peng is also an active trainer and consultant, and his consulting clients include AstraZeneca, Mass Transit Railway Hong Kong, SAFRAN, Springer, UK Government Office for Science, US Navy, and Texas Instruments.

Too basic

This is a very basic book about some VSDs used today. It has a lot of useful info, but not many details.

The Good:

Includes AC and DC Drive operation explanation

Written so it's very easy to understand.

Include waveforms at each step of the way through the circuits, which is helpful.

Explains how to test SCR power modules and Transistor power modules.

Basic DC and AC Motor operation reviews

The Bad:

There are about 25 pages of redundant text and illustrations. For example, it shows the same full-page schematic 6 times to point out the different sections.

Very little detail

The chapters are very short.

I don't see how it could cost $100 when it's worth about $10

I recommend a used copy of Industrial Electronics instead.

Don't even consider this book as an introductory guide.

Don't expect a wealth of technical information to be gleaned from this literary flop. The disappointing content is weak and aimed at readers who hope to excel at industrial controls and equipment, but this book will not suffice. I suggest more advanced material be sought for such a critical field as controls engineering. Nothing about this book impressed me.

Conversational Prayer

This has to be one of the best books ever written on prayer. Don't let the fact that it was written in the late '50s scare you. Rosalind Rinker wrote this book out of her own personal frustration with prayer groups and so-called prayer meetings. Our 21st century prayer groups can be just as unfulfilling as those she experienced half a century ago. If you really want to understand what she means when she says, "Prayer is a dialogue between two people who love each other", try what she suggests. Find one or two others to join you and follow her guidance. You'll find that prayer isn't dry and boring, rather it's a refreshing retreat that bring great blessings. If you're looking for a book that's not just philosophy and hype--you won't be disappointed in this one.

Very informative about conversational prayer

I've read this book two times and it is one of the best books I have ever read on prayer. Conversational prayer will give you a new meaning to prayer, it allows you to communicate to God on a personal level. I highly reccomend this book to anyone who wants to know God through prayer.
