Get Ripped With Kettlebells, The Easy Way

I’ve purchased a lot of exercise books, and have even written a few on my own. However, I didn’t get into Kettlebells until recently, and have found this book to be incredible. It’s 100+ pages of tips, tricks, and workouts that fully explain how you can get seriously ripped with workouts that use these Russian tools.

If you adhere to what is said in the training tips here, you will lose weight, gain lean muscle and get seriously strong. It’s impressive to see all the different options that you have in this book, as it’s far more than you will get with many other exercise books on Kindle right now. Even if you only put in 10 to 15 minutes a day with the tips found here, you will get results, guaranteed. It’s the best investment you’ll make, a quality workout book.

The workouts are easily explained, has photographs, and will explain everything you can possibly want about kettlebells. I highly recommend it.

If you're looking to get ripped, this is what you need

I personally found this book to be superb for teaching me more of the best ways to get a ripped body using nothing other than kettle bells.

Another added benefit for me was the fact that the book is 100+ pages- not too long and not too short. It gives you enough tips and tricks without stuffing your head with unnecessary facts and info.

The workouts were very easy to follow and the photographs really helped me to get a better idea of how to do the moves. I found this to be an absolutely fantastic book for kettle bell training and would recommend it to others without hesitation.

This book provides some of the best workouts I've seen.
I really like that this book provides pictures along with the workouts, because most other books don't provide any pictures at all.
I found this to be a very helpful & useful book.
Overall, I definitely recommend this.

This beautiful work by Dom Chautard focuses on the need to convert ONESELF to Christ first, to become a "living resevoir of the Holy Ghost" and not simply a channel. Dom Chautard keenly outlines the basic stages of spiritual life and gives specific direction in developing a rich interior life, which he assures the reader is "the shortest path to Heaven."

A Call to Perfection

This book is just beautiful. It is the book that was kept handy at the bedside of Pope Saint Pius X. It is a powerful reminder of the absolutely essential role that prayer plays in apostolic activity and the fruitlessness and barrenness of any reliance upon our own self-sufficiency in apostolic work. This book really helped change my outlook on the active life, which is often sharply contrasted with the contemplative life. All action is for the sake of union with God. Contemplation is primary in the life of the Christian. We are all called, ultimately, to a perfection that leads to a union and contemplation of God in eternity, the beatific vision, where we shall see God "as He is." Prayer is a foretaste of this union. It is a sort of an imperfect participation in this union with God that we are privileged to partake in during this earthly life.

Far too many, however, turn this order on its head, and they see contemplation as something that they are too busy to partake in. These people rely upon their own skills and efforts rather than upon the grace of God. They think that if they just DO more, if they just expend more effort, things will work out. To do this, they may have to cut time out of their life of prayer. After all, isn't a life of prayer for the monks? This book shows how very wrong this view is.

This work is also a reminder to the non-Catholic who has wrongly understood the Catholic teaching on faith and works. The works of the Christian are done in God's grace. To bear fruit, they must be blessed by God's Sovereign Will. They are not done as though one would "earn" one's salvation. The Catholic Church has always condemned such an understanding. These works, while necessary, are a free response to His Grace. This book reminds us of this truth and calls us to purify our understanding so that we rely upon Him for all things. As Saint Augustine quoted Scripture in his Anti-Pelagian writings, "What have you that you have not received?" The clear answer is nothing. We were created from nothing, and were it not for God's will, we would return to nothing. We have nothing of which to boast, and we must rely upon Him for all things, and even for the gift of prayer and the gift of works, as Saint Paul told us: "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure."

This book, perhaps more than any other that I have read outside of the Holy Scripture, reminds us: "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Excellent Critical Thinking Text

This is an excellent text for learning critical thinking. The book as a whole is well organized and very clear, and each chapter contains numerous well-designed exercises. Many of the exercises are taken from the arguments section of the Law School Admissions Test, so if you are planning to take the LSAT, this would make an excellent prep book.

Three interrelated factors have helped create the new slavery. The enormous population explosion over the past three decades has flooded the world's labor markets with millions of impoverished, desperate people. The revolution of economic globalization and modernized agriculture has dispossessed poor farmers, making them and their families ready targets for enslavement. And rapid economic change in developing countries has bred corruption and violence, destroying social rules that might once have protected the most vulnerable individuals.

Bales's vivid case studies present actual slaves, slaveholders, and public officials in well-drawn historical, geographical, and cultural contexts. He observes the complex economic relationships of modern slavery and is aware that liberation is a bitter victory for a child prostitute or a bondaged miner if the result is starvation.

Bales offers suggestions for combating the new slavery and provides examples of very positive results from organizations such as Anti-Slavery International, the Pastoral Land Commission in Brazil, and the Human Rights Commission in Pakistan. He also calls for researchers to follow the flow of raw materials and products from slave to marketplace in order to effectively target campaigns of "naming and shaming" corporations linked to slavery. Disposable People is the first book to point the way to abolishing slavery in today's global economy.

This book is fascinating, well written, and informative. The author never whines when discussing horrible situations around the world; he simply presents what he has learned from his extensive research. Every issue that I would have wanted to ask the author about is addressed in the book. The book is interesting politically, economically and culturally. I highly recommend it.

Slavery is back. It probably never left.

This is a book that should be required reading in schools all over the world. It tells the truth about slavery in our time. There are young African girls being enslaved in major cities like Paris, half-starved and tortured. There are little children in India and Pakistan working unbearable jobs all day every day for no pay. There are the sex slaves working in Thailand, unable to escape, picked up by the corrupt police when they try, and beaten, raped, and returned to the brothel where they are beaten and raped some more. There are the slaves of Mauritania, Brazil, and on and on, each with their own story. Of course there are topics not covered in this book, like the kidnapping and forced prostitution of French, British and American girls in the Middle East and Japan. But this book will motivate you to join Anti-Slavery International and become a modern day abolitionist.

This book documents slavery in just five countries, but more importantly it gives a face to victims of slavery. Slaves range is age from 3 years to the age of usefulness. Mr. Bales contrasts American slavery to the slavery of today's global economy. However, horrific and inexcusable American slavery was, in some ways today's slavery is worse. It is certainly far more prevalent than most of us would like to beleive. Mr. Bales gives fairly easy tips on how average people can help combat slavery. My hope is that so many people will read this book that our combined efforts will have a positive and real effect for millions of adults, children, and children yet unborn.
