Great book for learning Spring MVC

This is a great book. I bought this book a little over a month ago from Amazon.com after having bought and run through a few other books trying to learn Spring MVC. This book is just the right pace for me with clear step-by-step directions and detailed explanations of the code. I am a quarter-way through the book and using the sample code in the book as a template for the web site I am building.

Gets you set up and running in no time

This is a very good, concise, well written book on not just Spring, but M2 method of development, and spring MVC testing. The chapters on request validation, JSTL forms explained just deep enough to give you what you need, without putting you to sleep.
The appendix on setting up your Spring Tool Suite is one of the best I have ever read. It was designed to get you set up and running in no time.
The first edition of this book is equally good, except it's missing the chapter on application testing. In today's world of TDD, this second edition is definitely the better deal.
